The Oadby Community Hub has been conceptualised with a bottom-up approach on the challenges currently facing the communities in which we live. It is a project that will engage a range of stakeholders with an overarching aim to improve the health, sprituality and economic welfare of the local population from all backgrounds and faiths.
It is essential to reinvigorate a sense of community and collectively manage a raft
of future challenges from climate change to all forms of inequalities, and to set the foundations for future generations to prosper within safe and cohesive communities.
The Oadby Community Hub will be established on the premises of the former Walter Charles Centre, Oadby It will be a self-sustaining project relying on local philanthropic expertise and funding to deliver a range of high-quality services and community and religious facilities with a mix of free at point of use and chargeable income generation.
